Lima's Copious Characters
Welcome to my Carrd! Here I'll list all my characters with a brief summary, their profiles, and their tumblr tags.
I'm slowly getting everything together and filled out for everyone, and if you have any ideas/questions/concerns feel free to message me on tumblr, Discord, or in game!
About the Player
Hi! I'm Lima! I was born in 1993, I'm 5′2½”, and I have chronic dumbass disease.I live in the United States in the Eastern Timezone! I'm on FFXIV on one character or another most days.I rp in game, on Discord, or even on tumblr! I do my best to match the style of my partners, but I do vary my reply lengths depending on the information I think I need to get across. I try to make each of my posts push the plot forward a little bit, but I do fall flat of that sometimes.OOC communication is really important to me! I like to be friends with the people I rp with, and we don't even have to rp ever! We can just make character connections, take screenshots, whatever. I welcome new friends at any time! :)I'll rp most themes and stuff, I just need a heads up beforehand. I do prefer slice of life and stuff like that, and I'm bad at fighting and action filled scenes, but I'll do my best! My only hard no is to erp, it's just not my jam.My main tumblr is limasquared and my ffxiv tumblr is mostdangerouspotato. Guess what my discord is. (Or ask!) I don't have a twitter anymore.
Sasamu Samu
You found a secret character! This is a leftover alt from the days before server visits were a thing that eventually grew into an AU.
She's what Sasamu would be like if she never developed her own thoughts and morals and stuck to what her parents taught her. As such a lot of the support she had in her main AU, like Zealous and her father, are not there anymore. Rocky Tyrant left the caravan when his mother died to take care of his daughter, Zealous Abyss, and never took her back to the caravan.
I don't have a profile for her, and I actually fantasia'd her into a bun boy. But for a bit, she did exist!
Sasamu Samu
Sasamu Samu grew up in her wealthy parents' caravan, traveling around Thanalan, providing supplies to all, as well as doing business with shady folk. Sasamu for the most part grew up ignorant of the darker practices of her parents, even as they groomed her to take over the caravan. Most of the time, she was raised by the leader of the caravan's security and top bodyguard Rocky Tyrant. He took care of her emotionally as well as teaching her to fight after she was kidnapped for ransom by bandits, and when he brought his daughter, Zealous Abyss, to the caravan Sasamu became friends with the quieter girl.
As they got older, Sasamu wanted to explore more and more, and realized that she did not want to take over her parents' business at all. They were very displeased with this and threatened to cut her off financially, and even more displeased when their threats meant little to nothing and Sasamu did as she wished anyway.
Sasamu took on many odd jobs, usually doing security or bodyguard work, and crashed at the apartment of Zealous, now her girlfriend. She applied to the Bellworks where her potential as a mammeteer was recognized, and Sasamu became the head (and only) mammeteer.
Her parents still send threatening letters now and then, but Sasamu pays them no mind as she's starting to settle down, wondering if she should show her girlfriend the ring she's been crafting...
Ni'baharra Runja
Ni'baharra was found in a river as a child, half-drowned and clinging to a cloth, by a member of the "Ni" tribe, an offshoot of the N tribe that emigrated to the Black Shroud. They took her in and raised her as one of their own, and she took quickly to them after recovering despite not remembering a thing about her previous whereabouts. Being a Keeper of the Moon instead of a Seeker of the Sun like her adoptive family meant that she had an easier time in the cities, especially Gridania, where tensions were already high between races from the rampant xenophobia.
However, where she came from was something that was always on her mind, the cloth that she was found with her only clue. Someday, she hopes to become an adventurer and perhaps find where she's really from.
Lauviron Corentiaux
Lauviron lived in the Brume as far back as he could remember, caring for his younger brother after their guardian died or disappeared. After meeting a priest, Father Juivois, Ron was encouraged to apply for a scholarship at Saint Endalim's Scholasticate. Hoping he could bring his younger brother along and provide for him a better life, Ron tried his hardest, and was approved to bring his brother in for an application. However, when Ron went back to the Brume his younger brother had disappeared.
Slowly, Ron grew more and more disillusioned with life at the scholasticate and in Ishgard in general. Roughly around 17, he snuck out, first from the school (which he had done regularly to visit the Brume), and then managed to leave Ishgard. He learned how to bind books, and started repairing and making books as a freelancer for the Arcanist's guild.
Hana Kajiya
Tsetseg and her twin sister Delbee were born to the Kha tribe in the Azim Steppe. At one point, she met the daughter of a Doman blacksmith, a Raen Au Ra named Yuki Kajiya. Falling head over heels, Tsetseg left behind her family and the Steppe to follow Yuki back to Doma, who taught her about mining and blacksmithing and also made her a cool looking axe. She changed her name to Hana (the same meaning as her birth name, "flower")
Due to difficulties from the Garlean occupation, she and Yuki decide to flee Doma. However, they end up being forcefully separated. Hana managed to escape and make her way to Limnsa Lominsa, where she gets some work as a bodyguard and axe for hire when her awkward mannerisms and rough attitude don't scare away others. However, her wife is always at the back of her mind, and when she's saved up enough, she plans on setting off to try to find her.
Wandering Laurel
Wandering stays true to her name and wanders to and fro, looking for interesting and hopefully magical artifacts. She suffers from insomnia, and may or may not be cursed. She is very much a WIP
Q'hahtoa Khilo
As a baby, Q'hahtoa was found floating amongst the flotsam of a shipwreck not too far from the Q tribe's hometown west of Swiftperch in La Noscea. The tribe adopted and raised her as one of their own.
However, this was not to last, and the village was wiped off the map by Sahagin when Q'hahtoa was a teenager. She escaped with the clothes on her back, her chocobo Q'miho, a pudgy puk, and a thirst for vengence. But first, funding was needed.
Toa started out as an amateur healer for adventurers, but eventually found that she was not too bad with blade and board as well. She sometimes returns to Limsa Lominsa, but has difficulties returning to Western La Noscea.Toa is a WIP character.
Q'hahtoa Khilo
You found a secret character! This is a leftover from Toa's first form and story.
Enjoy!
Q'hahtoa grew up in -TBD-, cast out by her mother for being "part beast," although Toa also suspects it might also have to do with the Q tribe's Nuhn being jealous. She managed to survive on her own, using things like sticks and boards as improvised weapons to secure food and shelter. At some point something good must have happened, because she did grow up, get her hands on a sword and shield, and even learned some conjury. Huh. How about that.Gonna fantasia her into a hrothgal and rework her story.Toa is very much a WIP character.
Emmerich Darling
Born into a rich family, Emmerich (full name: Emmerich Goda Thomas Adalwin Darling) never wanted for anything. Over the years, he gained a reputation of a play boy and general dumbass, which led to getting cut off until he could prove he could do something with his life. However, he is a serious linguist (if a serious linguist who primarily uses other languages to flirt) with a special interest in the beast tribe's languages, and particularly in dragon speak. He's determined to learn how to live "like a commoner" and learn dragon speak, despite being a mortal.
Yaeko Masatake
Yaeko moved with her family to La Noscea from Doma 10 years ago when she was 19. In order to help out her parents and make sure she could protect her two younger brothers, she used her previous training to get in and do jobs for the Rogue's Guild. After the older of her brothers, Yuuji, left home to be an adventurer, Yaeko started to stay home more to help her parents raise her youngest brother, Yosuke.
When Yosuke wanted to go find Yuuji, she of course decided to go with him to protect him.
Lima Leema
You found a secret character! Lima was originally just for content, but eventually grew her own backstory. I don't really rp with her, but she is still an option kinda.Lima was born Lilima Lima to traveling merchants in La Noscea. She eventually left after a big argument with her parents, dropping the first "Li" of her name and slightly changing her last name to cut ties with her family. (Everyone in her family has "Li" in their name, it's an important theme to them.)
She became an adventurer along with her friend Mira, using healing magic while Mira used destructive magic. They joined a Free Company together, and there Lima met Potato Tato. Tato was a fearsome warrior, but also a very talented crafter. Lima was both impressed and intrigued, but her dear friend Mira had a bad jealous streak, cumulating in her summoning voidsent via suicide.
After Tato helped Lima destroy the Voidsent, and kill what Mira had become, they left the FC together. Together they bought a small airship, intending to ferry supplies between various settlements, and take it easy for a while. However, they got an offer from Sky Pirates to help them buy supplies legitimately. Tato and Lima would buy supplies, claiming it was for their own little ship, and then take it to the pirates and sell it for a profit. This worked well enough, until some traders got wind and were rather cross that they had been duped, then the Pirates were mad that that their supplies got cut off, blaming the pair of lalafell.
Lima and Tato cut their losses and settled down, getting married to each other. Tato runs a pirate-themed bar (of all the themes she could have picked) in the Mists, and Lima owns a house they share in Shirogane so she can walk to her office, where she runs a kind of walk in clinic. The kind that doesn't ask questions.
Every now and then they like to go out exploring.
Iha'li Mudaaja
Iha'li, more commonly known as simply Li or Lee, has been following his childhood friend, Ophelia Sommhei, as her bodyguard and manservant for as long as he can remember. Also a WIP character.
